Mabel Okojie, Ph.D.

Mabel CPO Okojie is a professor at Mississippi State University (MSU). She received her doctorate in education from The Ohio State University. Her master’s degree is from Manchester University, United Kingdom (UK) and her bachelor degree is also from the UK. Her area of research interest and expertise include curriculum development and evaluation, program planning for adult learners, technology integration and foundations of education. She is the coordinator of the educational specialist degree program in the Department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development. She served as an editor for the International Journal of Vocational Education and Training (IJVET). She has co-authored textbook and published articles in peer review journals. She has written book chapters and citations, and she is a distinguished contributing scholar In Tomei, L. (2010) Lexicon Online Education. Dr. Okojie reviewed a World Bank Book entitled: Diversified Secondary Education and Development: Evidence from Columbia and Tanzania, and also reviewed three chapters (7-9), of the research book entitled Research Methods for Education, published by SAGE Inc. She equally reviewed a technology integration book entitled: Create Future-Ready Classrooms, Now! Written by Ormniston and published by Solution Tree Press.
