Lorna Dreyer, Ph.D.

    Dr. Lorna Dreyer is a senior lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and has extensive teaching experience over the full spectrum of formal education sector. She worked as a learning support advisor and as coordinator of special schools in the Western Cape Provincial Education District with the focus of supporting schools with the implementation of inclusive education. Currently she teaches undergraduate and post graduate students and is co-ordinator for the B.Ed honours (Educational Support). Her expertise lies in the provision of learning support within an inclusive education context from a human rights and social justice perspective. She has published several articles, book chapters and presented papers at national and international conferences over the last nine years. Her current research focus on the professional development of education- and educational psychology students.
